JoyRidesUSA is a Colorado founded Company based in Larkspur, Colorado.  We started the company to provide local families and visiting families a unique and affordable driving experience by providing you with 1 and 2 hour local driving involvement in and around the wonderful Front Range of the Colorado Rockies.  We have so many beautiful sights to see and doing this from an open top, nostalgic 1965 Shelby Cobra is the best way to take in these local sites. shelby cobra rides

Scott & Teri Hauck have been in Colorado since 2006 and truly enjoy the mountain life and all that it has to offer.  Scott & Teri are located in Larkspur where they share this wonderful location with their 4 children and their two pets.  The Hauck's also ride a 2022 Indian RoadMaster Motorcycle, to get out into the open local area and thought it would be an even better experience with an open top car for visitors.  Scott and Teri thought a 1965 Shelby Cobra would be a great way to share this experience with local and visiting families.  We both want you to enjoy this experience as much as we do, and hope you will tell 2 friends about your wonderful ride.  

Scott has been in the automotive motorsports sport business since 1972 watching as a young boy Jeff Ward, Bob Hanna and Roger Decoster, at local motocross tracks or AMA events, this drove his interest far into other power sports and racing. In 1976 Scott started his Baja off-Roading experience in California as a level one pit member, he worked on cars in the Irvine, Ca shop.  He went on to supported 4-Baja-1000 race events and a couple Baja 500 events with a first place win in 1979, Class 5 1600 VW.  Scott has always had a motor cycle and car interest from the age 15 with his Suzuki TS 90. and continues to drive and ride up until this day. Scott has owned over 10 High Horse power Street Bike Motorcycles, Honda, Kawasaki, Harley and currently an Indian Road master .

Scott then went on, in 1992 to a street level class SCCA Rally street car in which he worked directly with the car owners on race prep and in race support as a crew chief for two rally Mazda Miata cars.  Scott was not a big fan of (Speed Limits) or UN-skilled freeway drivers and really liked the “race type” of environment he was exposed to, as the drivers all had similar driving skills and great Safety Measures in place to protect all involved.  In 2003-2006 Scott helped a friend build a, NHRA-1963 Chevrolet “Corvette”, an All-star Super Gas Race Car, a near 2000HP, or a, 9.9 Second race Corvette” and was asked to be the Crew Chief in 2005, as he truly enjoyed this opportunity and showed the experience to be around a higher level class of Horse power and operating team.  During this time Scott also was involved in Offshore Power Boating, with owning is own 500HP 26’ Scarab power boat, he and his family, along with his Brother would take frequent trips to Catalina across the open Ocean and then fish for sea bass and sharks.  These trips would push this boat to near 80MPH on the open 26 mile stretch between New Port Beach and Catalina’s Avalon Harbor.

Scott has several thousands of hours operating Motorcycles, Race cars and other supportive heavy equipment vehicles.  To this day he continues to enjoy all types of Motor Sports and Racing, with that being said Scott decided to started JoyRidesUSA to help share this wonderful open car experience with Local residents and visitors to Colorado.
